This restaurant was right next to my hotel on my first trip to Thailand. I arrived at the hotel around 8 pm and just wanted to grab a quick bite, so I ordered a basil dish and a Tom Yum noodle soup. Surprisingly, it tasted pretty good 👍, and the owner was very welcoming.
Tom Yum soup is excellent; many locals eat it. Follow-up review: The Tom Yum soup with nine springy prawns was great; I tried it again on my return trip and it maintained its high standard. The fried noodles were very flavorful, and the chilled coffee was also good.
One of my favorite local spots! Depending on how I’m feeling I typically go with the tom kha gai or the pad kra praw. I’ve also had many other things on the menu and always flavorful! Large prorations at a really good price. 5 stars for a local spot!
