The ambiance wasn't the best, but the food was delicious. The staff seemed very unmotivated. The older woman, who was also the cook, spoke some English. Unfortunately, the portions were quite small. We had to order twice to feel full. These were the smallest portions we've had in Thailand so far.
This is a total local gem, and the Tom Yum Goong is authentic. It was my first meal in Thailand, and I completely finished both the Pad Thai and the Tom Yum Goong. The portions are a bit small, but it is affordable, so it is great because you can order several dishes. I highly recommend visiting.
It has a strong local vibe and the food is so delicious! The prices are reasonable too, so I ate a ton.
