The advantages are that the ingredients are fresh, the soup is delicious, and the prices are mid-to-high. They have a 50 baht platter of beef with 3 thin slices, but the beef is good. Everything else is good, fresh, and tender.
There are many soup base options, and food prices range from 5 to 60 baht. The restaurant is nicely decorated.
Yi Jia Mala Hot Pot, Banthat Thong branch: The food is clean and fresh, and the staff provides excellent service. It's one of the best conveyor belt mala hot pot restaurants in Thailand.
