The place to come for the classic Thai Chinese dessert, Bualoy Nahm Khing. Pillowy rice flour cake stuffed with black sesame is steeped in a strong ginger tea. You can vary up the amount of sugar, but it's best with a least a little bit. Great little stall. 15 baht a serve.
The whole family happened to have a cold, so we came for a bowl of ginger-flavored tofu pudding and glutinous rice balls. It wasn't too sweet, and the ginger flavor was very strong.
This small shop on the corner of Soi Nawa has a wonderful aroma of ginger tea that can be smelled from afar. I'd rate it as one of the best spicy and hot ginger teas in Bangkok.
