A last-minute decision to have dinner at this small, cozy restaurant turned out to be a great one. It had a relaxed, unpretentious vibe. The meal was delicious, and the evening was pleasant. With such a big menu, the two of us ended up ordering too much - no complaints. We'll definitely visit again.
Perfectly cooked charcoal broiled eel. Do order the 1.5 portion, worth every single penny. It was a quiet evening when we visited, and we got to speak with a few friendly staff and found that many of their ingredients are imported from Japan to main the Japanese standard and authenticity.
The grilled eel rice is delicious, with a well-balanced sauce that’s not overly sweet. The hamachi is also fresh and very tasty. A great choice for unagi lovers.
