96 Bangkok restaurants where the food outscores the service
Diners can rate food, service and atmosphere separately. A restaurant's overall score hides which of the three is dragging it down. We compared food and service inside the same review, so the same diner is being measured twice.
The food clearly outscores the service in 96 of 6,630 restaurants. The reverse holds in 3. The imbalance runs one way: where the two scores part ways, it is almost always the service that trails. We can see that in the ratings; we cannot see why from them.

How we counted
Only some Google reviewers fill in the optional food / service / atmosphere ratings. For each restaurant we took the reviews that rated both food and service, subtracted service from food within each review, and averaged that difference. A restaurant needs at least 15 such reviews.
It is listed only if the average difference is at least 0.4★ and passes a paired test at z ≥ 3.5. We test 6,630 restaurants at once, so a normal 5% bar would flag well over a hundred by chance; at z ≥ 3.5 we expect about two false flags.
